A Husband’s Story, Ed
Connie’s husband wore this flannel shirt to the fix-it jobs he so enjoyed. One lone, well lived-in, paint-stained, soft flannel shirt tucked away after Ed’s death became two custom without-end pillows. He was in every sense of the word a large man and had filled Connie’s life with love, family and community. She had been about the business of mourning, remembering in reverent memorial services and seaside gatherings the geography and milestones of their married life.
